Training

The club has a number of instructors, most of whom can remember the apprehension and excitement of their first dive... in a swimming pool. The club is able to offer training from Ocean Diver (BSAC’s entry level qualification) to BSAC Advanced Diver. Those wishing to cross over from another training agency can do so. We also run nitrox courses, boat handling, dive planning and marshalling to name a few.

One of the many benefits of training with a club is that you can go at your own pace. We encourage students to become confident in their own abilities by progressive training. The weekly pool sessions allow all of us to practice our skills and as importantly test our new kit. As a new diver the array of kit available can be daunting. You will always be able to find sound advice from experienced divers.
