We had a lively meeting in the Epsom club due to an overrunning wake – there were literally no spare rooms and only a few chairs at 8pm. Nevertheless we had a meeting starting at 8:45pmand lasting only 1 hour 20 min.
We covered a lot of issues around good diving practice and hopefully we will all be a bit more careful and better, safer divers this year.
There are some dives in the website calender and Wraysbury and the Mulberries may happen this month weather allowing.
Some simple protocols are planned for many of the roles and tasks associated with the Dive Marshal and Boat Handler, which should make the jobs easier. We all need to volunteer regularly as DM to spread the load and enhance our awareness of good diving practice.
There are a couple of trips planned to Portland and Mull which are over subscribed – a good sign.
Make sure you all stay fit and healthy and update your medicals accordingly.
