Good Afternoon
Hope everyone is keeping well and recovered from the recent bout of Covid that was going around.
A quick update- last week we had a committee meeting to just catch up on a few things now that we have sorted transferring all the bank accounts. We were concerned that we may have to raise the membership fee, but having looked at the accounts we are in a good position to cover costs as we are, so the monthly fee will remain at £12. Please do check your DD as a couple of them have not been updated since the last raise ( about 5 years ago) and are still set for £10. Can you please amend your payment if its you- not naming names!!! The one thing we have decided to introduce is a £25 annual subscription for Social Only Members, Adrienne will be in touch with the bank details for payment if applicable.
Other than that we are still looking for storage for the kit, I am chatting with a few places about options, training is ongoing and we are happy to take on divers at all levels, the boat is in good shape- Joe plans to replace the ladder at some point- and what it’s all about – diving- John continues to plan lots of great dives for us. Let’s all encourage some new members to join.
Finally can I ask you to have a look at the website- Joe has spent a lot of time working on it and it really is looking great, but some member feedback would be really nice. He is adding to it constantly so anything you would like to see on it let either myself or Joe know and we are always looking for photos to add to it. With regards to photos if you do not wish to have any photos of yourself shared on the website, please let us know.
