Far Mulberry Dive 19th July

A nice sunny day greeted us at Littlehampton Marina with a slight breeze blowing. Everyone turned up in plenty of time kitted up and loaded the John W. The tide took it’s time to put enough water on the slipway but we soon underway, had to take it easy going out over sandbar as only 1 mtr water below but John D navigated his way out and within 40 minutes we were onsite.

One other RIB there he dropped off his divers and Adrienne and David got kitted and in they went. This was Esther’s and Matteo’s first boat and sea dive and the Mulberries didn’t disappoint. Viz was about 4-5 metres so much life to see, Bib Wrasse Blennies congers and lobsters. Paul dived with Esther and PJ dived with Matteo. Dives lasting about 50 minutes. A great introduction to British sea diving.

Back on the John W David coxed on the way back to Littlehampton to get more experience of Coxing the John W. And with some trepidation he also got the John W on the trailer with a little guidance from John.

A great day out with some big smiles from the divers and the Lobster that Paul returned to the sea.
